Service Project Opportunities

We provide Scouts and school groups with opportunities for service projects in the Mud Creek watershed. The Lawrence North High School students pictured above spend several hours cleaning up litter in the watershed every spring. Local scouts have built bird houses and dug out ephemeral ponds and have harvested 1000+ pounds of invasive garlic mustard from MCC's protected habitats.

MCC's protected habitats also provide Lawrence Township public, private & home schools with "living laboratory" field trip opportunities where youth can interact directly with nature.
